Simon Winters, OBE

Simon is an international consultant to not-for-profit organisations and charities. He brings to the third sector his many years of experience in business, contract negotiations, marketing, public relations, event creation and management, public speaking, and fundraising.

Simon is a positive, proactive and dynamic CEO level professional combining strong international business acumen with a proven track record of success in terms of delivering multi-million pound results in one of the most challenging sector, charity. Simon has used his expertise to effectively manage organisational change using innovative thinking in order to maintain a strong market presence. He increased income from £3 million to £15.8 million for one specific charity. In 2016 income to Conservative Way Forward increased from £25,000 when he joined as fundraising director to now nearly 2 million pounds. His extensive experience within the UK, USA, Europe and the Middle East and meant he was made an O.B.E by Her majesty the Queen in 2009 for services to charity.

Prior to moving into full-time consultancy in 2008, Simon Winters served as Chief Executive Officer of the not-for-profit Jewish National Fund, UK. He worked for the JNF for some 16 years, first as head of marketing and then from 2006 as the CEO of UK JNF. Under Simon Winters’ management, JNF’s value increased by £12.8 million. While serving with the JNF, Simon Winters held responsibility for organizing prestigious events in locations such as Windsor Castle and Israel’s Parliament, the Knesset. The guest lists at events under his baton include the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Albert of Monaco, Bill Clinton and General Colin Powell, then US President and Secretary of State respectively, and several Prime Ministers of Israel.

Simon Winters’ work with and for charities and not-for-profit organisations includes membership of ACEVO, the Association of Chief Executives of Voluntary Organisations and Community Security Trust, and the ELLA Foundation, which provides coaching, mentoring and support to help its members grow their charities. Winters was Appointed Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts since 2004. He is also a member of the Institute of Directors (IoD).

Professor Luis Huete

Professor Luis Huete is a leading management thinker, with over 35 years of experience teaching in leading business schools worldwide. Having worked with some of the largest brands to assist with their strategic business plans and organisational structures. He has worked for several years as a speaker, consultant and facilitator for top management teams in more than 700 companies in 70 countries across the five continents.

At present, he is a professor at IESE Business School and in executive programmes at Harvard Business School (USA) and the European School of Management and Technology (Berlin), amongst other Business Schools. In Spain, he has worked for more than 50% of the IBEX35 companies.

Luis Huete holds a Bachelor of Law degree, an MBA from IESE and a PhD from Boston University. He was a Fulbright Scholar and in 1988 his PhD thesis was awarded as best dissertation of the year in the USA.

Prof. Huete is the author of 12 books and is a renowned speaker at conferences and industry gatherings. He was a Fulbright Scholar and winner of the Decision Science Institute Award for best dissertation of the year (1988). The journal Actualidad Económica rewarded him three times in the category of 100 Best Business Ideas of the year. The Spanish publication Who’s Who in Spanish Management described him as one of the most influential figureheads of the Spanish management sector.

Luis is Vice-chancellor of the International Academy of Management. He also serves on the Boards of companies such as Epikurean Resorts and Lifestyle in Thailand, and Altia in Spain. In addition, he belongs to the Advisory Board of Adizes Graduate School (USA), Lid Publishing and Chef Sandoval (2 Michelin stars) Group. Luis is also a patron of the Modern Art Foundation NMAC and the Real Dreams Foundation. Luis previously was a Board member of Six Senses Resorts & Spas (Thailand), Ecointegral, Corporación Financiera Arco, PortAventura and Llanera in Spain.
